Dr. Harold A. Morris, 88, of Mount Dora died Tuesday (March 5, 2002). Born in Waterloo, Iowa, he moved to Central Florida in 1979 from Charles City, Iowa. He was a dentist with the U.S. Navy and retired as a dentist in Charles City, Iowa. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. He was a life member of the American Dental Association; a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry; Iowa Dental Association; Society of Preventive Dentistry; Elks Club; life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars; life member American Legion; and past member Rotary Club. He was a retired commissioned Lt. Comdr. in the U.S. Navy. He was appointed clinical professor, College of Dentistry, University of Iowa. Survivors include his two sons, James L. Morris of Provo, Utah, and Roger A. Morris of Decorah, Iowa; two daughters, Dr. Rosalie A. Caffrey of Ashland, Ore., and Debbie L. Morris of Mason City, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Virgina Baltzell states that she misses him very much. He was such a caring person. He had many friends and was willing to lend a hand when needed.
