Audrey L. Wahlund

Audrey L. Wahlund (Nystrom), age 86, of Bloomington. She loved to travel, expressed a creative flair for interior design, and enjoyed time with her family. A longtime member of Hope Presbyterian Church where she served in many capacities, especially as a 20-year volunteer to the Happy Hopers, a group of adults with special needs. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Donald; and her son, the Rev. Craig Wahlund. Survived by son Dean (Jane) Wahlund; daughter-in-law Becky Wahlund; five grandchildren, Sarah (Trent) Nielsen, Megan Wahlund, Drew Wahlund, Ryan (Amanda) Wahlund, Kyle Wahlund; and great-granddaughter Sophie Dreu Nielsen.

Funeral Information

Memorial Service will be at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Avenue South, Richfield on Monday (March 1, 2010) at 7:00 P.M. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Donations Information

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Camp Ojibway.
