Doris McCalla

July 31, 1923 - January 12, 2010

Doris McCalla ( nee Nord ), age86, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 12, 2010. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband, Chuck McCalla; parents, John and Signe Nord; brothers, John, Kenny and Loren Nord. She will be deeply missed by her children, Mike McCalla ( Judy ); Pat Hellum ( Art ); Kathy Granum ( David ); and Peggy McCalla. Loving grandmother to Cindy Johnson ( Chris ), Mike McCalla, Tim and Teresa Hellum, Kirsten Dowling ( John ), Melissa and Erik Granum; adoring great-grandmother to Carter Johnson, Andrew and Jacob McCalla, Milo and Matthew Dowling. Caring auntie, devoted friend and avid bridge player.

Funeral Information

Memorial service Monday, ( Feb. 15, 2010 ), at 4:00 PM at Woodlake Lutheran Church, 7525 Oliver Ave S, Richfield. Visitation one hour prior. Private interment at Ft Snelling.
