Janis K. May
Janis K. May. On September 1, 2010, Janis passed away at the age of 63 after a courageous battle against cancer. She is now at peace with her Heavenly Father. Preceded in death by father, Francis May. Survived by 2 children, Jill and Ross Berge; mother, Leone; sister, Sharon (John) McKisson; nieces, Jennifer Grant and Jacqueline McKisson; cousins and many friends. Janis had a heart of gold. She was a devoted mother to her children and an excellent caregiver to her parents. She loved being outdoors working in her garden. She taught at Oak Grove Jr. High in Bloomington for 10 years and many other various jobs after that. Janis graduated from M.S.U., Mankato with a BS in Art Education and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction, and a teaching license in EBD/SLD. Janis will be deeply missed by those who knew her and loved her.

Funeral Information
Service Tuesday (September 7, 2010) at 12:00 Noon at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 9201 Normandale Blvd. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
