Winifred C. Johnson "Winnie", age 97 of Richfield, formerly 3rd Avenue. in South Minneapolis. Winnie was a nurse and then a teacher at Sheltering Arms. She grew up in Tyler, MN. She was an avid Twins fan, Bible study leader and loved to tell stories to anyone. Preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo. Survived by children, Marnee (Richard) Grefe and Clifford (Deb) Johnson; grandchildren, Chad (Tracy) Johnson, Kurt Johnson, James (Kari) Grefe and Katie Pendergast; great-grandchildren, Matthew Pendergast, Olivia Grefe and Morgan Grefe.

Funeral Information

Service 11:00 A.M. Thursday (February 11, 2010) at Richfield Lutheran Church, Nicollet Ave. at 60th Street. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
