Thomas E. Wurdeman, age 86, of Bloomington. Restorer of Mechanical Music Machines. Preceded in death by wife, Ardyce; parents, Oswald and Edna Wurdeman; brother, Chuck Wurdeman. Survived by sons, Mark Wurdeman and wife, Barrbara; Scott Wurdeman and wife, Debbie; daughter, Linda Tanaka and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Emily, Kristen, Jena, Laura, Kari and Dani; great-grandchildren, Kate, Cora, Jackson, Owen and Blake; brother, Don Wurdeman and wife, Phyllis; sister-in-law, Marilyn Wurdeman; special friend, Jan Kolve; nieces and nephews.

    Tom was not only a dear friend but also a valued mentor in the field of automatic musical instruments. His legacy will live on with the many, many people he touched over the years of his involvement in the field. Merrie and I offer our sincerest condolences on this great loss.

    Tom was someone I have known for many years. I met him probably in 1966/67. We had some fun times especially in our trading for rolls and other things. He was responsible for my acquiring a Seeburg G which he knew meant a lot to me. His wit and friendship will be greatly missed. Rosanna and I offer our deepest sympathies to his family and many friends.
