Phyllis Olivia (Knutsen) Anderson, of Richfield, MN, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026 at the age of 92. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Jeffrey); son, Gregory; grandsons, David and John; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob); her parents; and her brothers and sisters.
Phyllis was born in Watertown, SD on March 15, 1933 and raised in Minneapolis. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1951 and began working as a receptionist. Phyllis and Bob were married in 1960 and were active members of Woodlake Lutheran Church. Phyllis volunteered with many organizations including Woodlake, Cub Scouts, Campfire Girls, and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed traveling and the family took many memorable road trips. After Bob’s retirement, they were annual Florida ‘snowbirds’. Her strong faith was apparent to her family and friends. She was loving, generous, caring with a good sense of humor.
