Betty Mae Larson

Betty Larson passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 82, at her home in Savage, Minnesota.

Betty was born in Winnebago, Minnesota, to Grant and Ruth Larson. She attended and graduated from Huntly Public School. Upon graduation she moved to Minneapolis and attended secretarial school for a year. Her long term career was with the Minneapolis Grain Exchange where she worked as a clerk.

Betty loved spending time with her friends. She loved playing games, and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Vikings and the Twins. She enjoyed her Red Hat outings. Vacationing with friends was also a favorite activity.

Betty was unwavering in her faith in Jesus Christ and spent her life devoted to Him. She was active in her church, Wooddale Baptist. In her later years, as her memory became troublesome, she stood strong in her faith and would often declare, “I love Jesus, and Jesus loves me!”

Betty was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Ruth Larson; brothers, Ken Larson, Gerald Larson, Ronald Larson, Lyle Larson; and sister, Sylvia Anderson.
