Arthur Earl Elsmore, Jr., age 89, of New Hope, passed away on January 6, 2018. Survived by wife, Beverly; children, Michele (Tom Elliott), Mike Elsmore (Millie), Patrick Elsmore (Pamela), Terry Elsmore, Cris Elsmore (Cheryl); 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many step-family members. Arthur was preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren.

I am so sorry that Art is gone. He was definitely a very bright spot in my day. He could call me out on something that he would think I wasn’t doing just right and seem so upset at me but have this little smile on his face but trying to act so seriously upset. I will never forget him or his love for his family. I will miss hearing his story of how he and Bev got married and how Michele was supposed to be Michael over and over again, how he loved to watch his old game shows on tv, loved to play bingo even though for some reason he rarely won, how I would try to get him to smile every hour and what he would call me..hey you.. the first day I met him. I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you all but I know now he is ok and now smiling down on you all and it’s more than once every hour. God bless you all always and know how much he loved all of you.
