Bernard O. Jacobson, age 66, of Bloomington, passed away July 14, 2013. He was born in Northfield, MN on August 9, 1946 to Harriet E. and Arnold K. Jacobson. He was preceded in death by his love and companion, Betty Stenglein; his parents and his brother, Gerald. Bernie grew up in South Minneapolis near Brackett Field, attended local schools and the University of Minnesota, majoring in Art History. He shared art talent as a volunteer at Sister Kenny. He served in the U.S. Army processing blood and medical supplies for Viet Nam. He was employed by the City of Minneapolis Public Works for many years until retirement. He was a master cement finisher. He enjoyed time at the farms of both grandparents. Bernie had many close and wonderful friends and relatives.
