Carol Jean Josephs, age 90, of Main Street Village in Richfield, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2020, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; brother, Don Sandell; and parents Augusta and Herbert Sandell. She is survived by her niece, Heidi (Mark) Enright; nephews, Todd (Marilyn) Sandell and Eric Sandell, and other relatives. She was born on November 9, 1930, in Minneapolis, MN, and graduated from the Dowling School for Crippled Children and the University of Minnesota. She had a career as a medical technologist. She was an active member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Richfield. Despite her physical challenges she loved to travel and throughout her life, was very active with her many friends and family.

Our deepest sympathy to Carol’s family. She was a very special person. She accomplished and achieved so many things during her life even tho she had challenging disabilities. She inspired many. She was also a dear cousin to my husband and we enjoyed many Christmas celebrations and other special occasions. She will be deeply missed.
