Dale E. Bostrom, age 58, of Richfield, passed away at home on Friday, September 13, 2019.

He was the son of the late David and Lois Bostrom. He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Mary; his sons, Andrew, Daniel, and Joshua; his brother, Don Bostrom (Jean) and sister, Nancy Bostrom; brothers-in-law, Mike Wozniczka, Paul Wozniczka (Kay) and David Wozniczka (Janet); sisters-in-law, Chris Chartrand (Doug) and Sue Franklin (John); seven nephews and nine nieces; three great-nephews and one great-niece.

Dale cherished his walks with Mary, summer weekends spent at the camper with family and friends, listening to his sons play music, and keeping up with the latest electronic devices. He enjoyed lively discussions about current events and will be remembered fondly for his quick wit and smile that let you know he enjoyed your story or joke. Dale was an active member of First Free Church, involved in their Creekside Clubs.

The family is very grateful for the wonderful care provided by his sister-in-law, Chris, allowing Dale to remain at home, close to those he loved.

Dear Mary, Andrew, Daniel, and Joshua,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember Dale having a funny joke to tell whenever he arrived to a gathering. My parents told me I was afraid of his beard when I was little…I wish Bella had a chance to meet him because she loves men with facial hair, haha! We’re praying for you all during this difficult time. Never lose faith in God, He has a plan and will continue to watch over and guide you. Love, Alyssa, Logan, and Bella Stout

I would like to offer my sincerest of condolences to you and your family. Dale and I worked together at SPS and I very much appreciated his desire to jump into every challenge. Giving up was not in his nature and the same quick wit and smile you talk about was ever-present at work. Dale leaves a hole in his work family that couldn’t possibly be replaced. He will always be remembered fondly for the many ways that he contributed to our lives personally and professionally. If you could see the way he carried himself here, you would indeed be even more proud of that man that he was.

Mary, I am so sorry . Dale was such a kind , sweet man and I always enjoyed seeing him at Kamp Dels. I’m so glad I came back last year and was able to reconnect. I will always picture him sitting in front of the fire. He fought so hard, and really enjoyed being at the campground with you and the boys. He will be deeply missed at Kamp Dels also. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I am so sad for you. Your a wonderful couple
