Dale W. Settergren, age 91, of Bloomington, passed away on November 3, 2018. A hardware man. Survived by Lois, his wife of 58 years; children, Pam (Kevin) Hauer, David (Tessie) Settergren, Patti (Dave) Sheck, Nancy (Taki) Ramoundos, Gregg (Vicky) Settergren, Mark (Mary) Settergren, Kristin (Steve) McGinness; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Philip (Betty) Settergren and Jim (Carol) Settergren; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorials to Diamond Lake Lutheran Church or Sons of Norway.

    Dale was the kindest man and soul. I enjoyed working with him at the stores and being around him because of his warmth and kindness made me feel good.

    I considered him a friend and a mentor because of his vast knowledge. I learned much from him.

    I believe that people one meet in life can be jewels you wear on a necklace of life. Dale is a shiny gem that I will never forget.

    I miss you friend.
