Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Iverson

Age 92, of Richfield, passed away on October 6, 2019. Betty was born December 19, 1926 in Chippewa Falls, WI. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; and sisters, Geraldine Thornton and Patricia Forer. Betty was a very gentle and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Christine (Robert) Olson and Mary (John) Ephardt; granddaughters, Sara (Mike) Fatland, Katie (Matt) Olson and Melissa (Joe) Bistodeau; step-grandchildren, Geoffrey(Jackie) Olson and Matthew (Amy) Olson; great-grandchildren, Cole, Taylor, Ryan, Tanner, Carson, Ashton and Amayah; step-great-grandchildren, Ben, Abby, Andrew , Tatum and Charlotte; brothers, Charles Thornton of Lawrence, GA and James Thornton of LaCrosse, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to NC Little Hospice or St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

    We are so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She was such a dear sweet soul. I have so many wonderful memories of family gatherings and vacations with Lawrence and Betty. I am sure they are all happy to be together again. Sending our thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort to all the family and friends. Hugs to Chris and Mary.
