February 21, 1928 - October 23, 2023
Evelyn, our dear Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and friend, passed away quietly on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 95 years of age. She was a talented watercolor artist who loved biking, sewing, baking, and taking care of her family. Her husband, Willard, predeceased her in August 2021 after 73 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Dale, Larry (Sunew Lee), Garry and Kay Slattery (Rick). Together they had 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Neil (Ruth) Mebust; nieces, nephews and friends. We are thankful for the care she received at Nine Mile Creek Memory Care, with special thanks to Lori, Tayona and Jason for loving and caring for our mother. We are grateful for Barb Parrish, Evelyn's niece, for her constant loving care of Mom the past two years.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. I have lovely memories of Evelyn’s kind, warm, and always-welcoming nature. I’m so sorry I can’t be there with you all in person for Evelyn’s visitation and service, but you are in my thoughts.
