Evelyn R. Olson age 92 of Minneapolis. Passed away September 24, 2019. Preceded in death by husband LaVerne, son Steven. Survived by daughter Lynn Olson and many friends. Evelyn's friend, Mary Ann Dalbey, wrote this poem for one of Evelyn's birthdays - " To Evelyn: Happy Birthday. A strong woman, with a twinkly in her eye, a ready chuckle at good humor. She is confident in her person, positive in her outlook, sensitive to the needs of others. She is perceptive, assessing situations and solutions quickly and astutely. She is responsible for her commitments for integrity is her backbone. Her decisions are guided by wisdom. Her crowning tiara is compassion which says, I have passed this thorny way. May I help you?"

So sorry to hear of Evelyn’s passing. She was my 1st cousin. I remembered her as such a sweet lady. She was closer in age to my sister Harriet (89) in Iowa. They talked about once a year on the phone. Mat she Rest In Peace.
