Lt. Col. Frederick Von Hagen USA Signal Corps Ret.
Frederick Von Hagen, age 93, of Bloomington, passed away July 27, 2023.
He was born in Cohocton, NY on August 12, 1929. Fred spent 20 years in the US Army stationed in many different places, including a year in Korea and a year in Vietnam in 1967. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus - Bloomington.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose Von Hagen; and sister, Margaret.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Steven (Sue) and Charles (Peggy); and grandchildren, Laura, Joseph, Amy, Micah, Paul, Simon, Angela and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jordan and Matthew; and great-great-grandchildren, Ian and Josephine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donors’ choice.
