Gary George Olson, age 72, of Apple Valley, passed peacefully away on December 16, 2022 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s.
Gary graduated from Washburn High School and attended Augsburg College before joining the USAF. He spent the majority of his career working in the semi-conductor industry and retired from General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Senior Advanced Engineer. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, cooking and attending sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; daughter, Aimee (Brian); son, Michael (Nate); grandsons, Benjamin and Alexander, brothers, Kurt Olson (Mary Jane), Scott Olson (Cheryl), David Olson, and nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by parents, George and Corinne Olson, and sister, Judy Olson.
Gary will be forever in our hearts and memories!

Jeanne: I was notified by Gary Starr of the passing of your husband. My sympathies to you and your family–as I see his picture, my memories of our time in confirmation and youth church group (Pastor Bonn!) come back to me. It was a special and important time of my life, and love that you and Gary created a strong and loving bond. My prayers go out to you and yours, especially during these holiday times, when “be of good cheer” is difficult to envision.
