Gertrude J. “Gertie” Herll

Gertrude J. "Gertie" Herll, age 89 of Emerald Crest in Burnsville, formerly of Richfield. Gertie was a very active volunteer, especially at her church. She also loved to golf, bowl and play volleyball with her friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Art; and three brothers, Sander, Lowell and Darrell Sanderson. Survived by her children, Debra Sletten, Janet McKay, Julia Herll and Mark (Patti) Herll; grandchildren, Angelique and Amy Sletten, Jenna (Adrian) Hernandez, Megan (Peter) Nelson and Laura and Kristin Herll; great-grandchildren, Ariana and Brooklyn Hernandez and Henry and Charlie Nelson. She is also survived by her sister, Ruby Carlson; as well as many other relatives and friends.
