Grant C. Peterson, age 90 of Richfield. Welcomed into the arms of his Savior on Feb. 17, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Co-owned Peterson Bros. Hardware Store in South Minneapolis for over 50 years. Proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Seabee. After retiring, Grant became an avid woodcarver and was always available to help others. Survived by his beloved wife, Coral; children and their spouses, Grant A. (Debbie), Greg (Sandy) and Nancy (Dave) Slinger; grandchildren, Charlie (Jen), Amy (Erik), Jim (Jamie), Scott, Megan and Katey; great-grandchildren, Laila, Simone, Darren and Cora.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hope Presbyterian Church, N.C. Little Hospice, or to donor's choice.
