Gwen Joanne (Hoppenrath) Halldorson, age 80, of Richfield, passed away on May 31, 2026.
A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend to all. She was an avid reader, lover of dogs and dragonflies, and she enjoyed digging in the dirt.
Everyday was Christmas at Gwen’s house.
Survived by husband of 56 years, Jeff Halldorson, son, Bradd Halldorson; brother, Gene Hoppenrath; sister, Gail (John) Boline; sister-in-law, Judy (Ron) Aikin and many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Marcie Hoppenrath; in-laws, Harold and Vi Halldorson; brothers-in-law, Jerry Halldorson and Ron Swenson; and sisters-in-law, Beryl Halldorson and Lynda Swenson.

Good bye dear sister. I’m so sad I never got to say goodbye and sad we will never be able to share anything in life again, but I’m thankful you slipped away peacefully and are free from all your pain. Peace be with you resting in Jesus’ loving arms.
