James Michael "Mike" Westerman, age 80, of Richfield, passed away on February 4, 2020. Graduate of De La Salle High School, Winona State and University of Texas-Austin and retired chemical engineer working in the paper industry in St. Paul, retiring from Waldorf Rock-Tenn. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Ann; parents, Robert and Florence (Gallagher) Westerman and siblings, John Westerman and Mary Jean Westerman. Survived by children, Joseph Westerman, Julie (Gary) Nell, James (Holly) Westerman and Jennifer Roberts; grandchildren, Sarah Christine, Anna Josephine and Genevieve Westerman; Kate and Alexander Westerman and Emily Serres; siblings, Bob (Jean) Westerman, Bill Westerman, Mark Westerman, Kathy (Dick) Skinner and Peg (Terry) Peterson; companion, Mary Weiland, and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Minnesota Masonic Home ( D-3), or N. C. Little Hospice.
