James P. "Jim" Metzger, age 59 of Buffalo. Passed away on August 8th. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph. Survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Noah (Deanna) and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Bryson and Jackson; mother, Patricia; and siblings, Denice (Mark), Peter (Paulette), Dorothy (Randy), Georgia (Gary), John (Marykay), Paul and Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. The family would like to thank Fairview Hospice of Princeton for all of their care and support of Jim during his illness.

I am so sorry, I had the pleasure of working with Jim and I will always remember the fun we had. No matter how he was feeling he always had a smile. May he rest in peace. Mary, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Murphy
I had the pleasure of working with Jim in CIT Operations as his supervisor for several years. I cannot remember an instance when Jim did not have a smile or extend a friendly greeting to anyone! To Mary and family, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies and my prayers for support and comfort.
Please accept my my heartfelt condolences to Mary and her family of the loss of Jim. I also had the honor of working with Jim and there weren’t many who could hold a candle to the integrity and ethics of this often under appreciated man.
