Jarrid Lee Steffen - Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel

March 3, 1970 - March 11, 2026

Jarrid Steffen, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on March 3, 1970, Jarrid was the cherished first grandchild of his family, and he was deeply devoted to his loved ones throughout his life.

Jarrid graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1989. Answering the call to serve, he joined the Army and later spent time in the Navy, where he continued his education and further distinguished himself.

Jarrid worked as a machinist, where he was appreciated for his steady work ethic and care for his craft. He was also a gifted artist with a natural talent and a passion for expressing himself through various creative outlets.

Jarrid’s commitment to helping others was evident in his active support of the Red Cross. He took great pride in his regular blood and plasma donations, knowing that his generosity saved hundreds of lives.

Those who knew Jarrid will remember his warm hugs and his heartfelt words—he never ended a phone call or text without saying, “love ya” leaving a meaningful impression on those around him.

Jarrid is survived by his loving parents, Rick and Judy Steffen; his sister, Stefany (Joshua) Martinsen; his nieces, Marissa (Andrew) Becker and Kenadie Martinsen; his nephew, Masen Martinsen and his significant other, Isabelle Evans; his great-nephews, Easton and Hudson Becker; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and his former wife, Amanda. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Joan Steffen, and John and Harriet VonBank.

Jarrid’s legacy of service, creativity, and unconditional love will be cherished by his family and friends.

The family welcomes contributions to the American Red Cross in honor of their loved one.
