I am sorry to hear about your loss. John was a great friend of my mother and uncle growing up in Morley Heights. My uncle, Greg Lucas, and my mom, Genevieve Lucas (Dryke) told many wonderful stories of their adventures with John.
My sincere condolences to the Amatuzio family. John was working at Piper Jaffray Hopwood when this 18 year old from South Minneapolis walked in and wanted to make a stock transaction with the money that he was making while caddying at Edina Country Club. I was assigned to John and through the years it became a successful relationship while attending college and beyond. Over the years I still managed to save those transaction sheets from the account that John set up for me. He was always so kind and courteous with me over the years to me.
My late mom knew Donna from rhs. They lived on 70th & harriet & had a knack for old cars. I used to cut their grass.
