John Roberts Mithcell passed away on June 25, 2026 just one week shy of his 101st birthday. John was a WWII Army veteran who served under General Eisenhower in the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF) and was a retired Commercial Insurance Underwriter. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice; sister, Jean Swain and brother, Robert. Survived by his son, Brad (Peggy); daughter, Lynn (Doug) Mitchell Robertson; grandchildren, Bradley John, Jr. (Manda); Jaeger and Miles Robertson.
