Luella R. Hansen
Age 86, passed away on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 at Brookdale Memory Care in Eden Prairie, MN. She was born Dec. 14, 1932 in Owatonna, MN to Albert and Hedwig Schmidt. She was baptized, confirmed and attended elementary school at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Havana Township, MN. She graduated from Dr. Martin Lutheran High School in New Ulm, MN. After high school Luella worked at a bank in Deer Creek, MN. She then moved to Mpls. to continue her employment at Richfield State Bank where she worked until her retirement. She married Paul Hansen in 1959. Together they loved to travel to see the USA and visit relatives. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Hansen; sister, Valeda Chaney; and brother, Rownell Schmidt. Survived by brother, Helmuth Schmidt; sister, Darlene Birch; and many nieces and nephews.
