Lydia Ann Hayes

Lydia Ann Hayes, age 92, of Eagan, passed away September 27, 2026.

Ann was born March 4, 1934 in Memphis, TN. In 1952, Ann married Donn Hayes and they moved to Minnesota in 1954. She was a Bloomington School Cook from 1971-2004 and was a lifelong, active member of the LCMS.

Ann is survived by her children, Sheri Brown (Mark), Colleen Marquardt (Dan), Kay Kretzmann (Don), Marilyn Stoutenburg (Mike), Paul Hayes (Marilyn), Jan Cassada (Doug); grandchildren, Matthew, Kristin, Cyndi, Lydia, Becky, Courtney, Eric, Anna, Mike, Adam, Brett, Chad, Alyssa, Rachel and Peter; 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donn; parents, Theodore & Lydia Zurhorst; brother, Ted Zurhorst; sister, Hedwig McNew; and granddaughter, Amanda.
