Marion F. Fitze

Marion Frances ( Steele ) Fitze, age 89, of Richfield, formerly of Bloomington, died peacefully at home on January 1, 2013. She was born January 19, 1923, at Faribault, MN where she grew up and graduated from Faribault High School.  She was preceded in death by husband, William " Bill"  Fitze; parents, Olga and Willis Steele, Sr. and brother, Bill Steele. Survived by step- children, Marcia Thibodo, Chuck Fitze ( Kathy ), Jim Fitze ( Kathy ), and John Fitze ( Susan );  sister, Carol Anondson; brother Robert Steele; sisters-in-law, Leah Steele and Marilyn Steele ; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren , one niece, four nephews, cousins and many  dear friends. Marion loved life and lived every day with joy. She had a wonderful sense of humor which we all enjoyed. Some of her favorite things were going to the lake, fishing and traveling as much as she was able. She loved playing bridge with her longtime bridge club and with her friends at Mainstreet Village. Marion took particular joy in spending time with all of her family. As she was so fond of saying, "Her get up and go got up and went". We will miss you Marion!
