Marlen G. “Gene” Williams,
Age 96, of Richfield, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021.
Honored Veteran of WWII, recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Philipine Liberation Service Ribbon with two Bronze Stars and was a long-time member of the Richfield American Legion and VFW Post 5555.
Survived by children, Bruce (Susie Q) Paulson and Brenda (Dan) Anderson; grandchildren, Jennifer Schneider, Laura Schneider, Michael Paulson and Nicholas Anderson; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Evan; sister-in-law, Rosemary Williams.
Preceded in death by his wife, Arlyn Williams; parents and his siblings.
