Marlys D. Hanneman, age 74 of Richfield, died peacefully on July 20, 2014. Preceded in death by husband, Richard; parents, Delmer and Esther Peterson. Survived by daughter, Jennifer (Zach) Pierce; grandchildren, Zoe and Xander; sister, Jan (Alan) McCallie; brother, John Peterson; nieces, Sara Newman and Jodi Houck; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Its’ hard for me to think that you’re actually gone. I’ve been so blessed being your brother for all these years. You are a sister that I’m so very proud of, as you always treated others with respect and honor. I will always love you Marlys, and you’ll always hold a very special place in my heart. You may be gone, but never to be forgotten. Rest in peace my wonderful sister. I know you’ll always be an angel to me. I will miss you always. And the rest of our family, we have all known a great lady, and may we all know the blessings that she brought to all of our lives.
Jen and family, I was so sadden when I heard of your Mom’s passing, I ran in to her at Target early one Saturday morning and it was so good to see her, I will always remember the fun times we had together as mothers of Tapaires!
