Maurice J. Devitt, age 91 of Richfield. Morrie was born in Shieldsville, attended Faribault HS and married Joyce Morsching in 1954. Graduated from Dunwoody. Worked as a Pipefitter w/St. Paul Local 455 for 35 years. Proud member of the Marian Council Knights of Columbus, a 4th degree Knight and Knight of the Year in 2014. Worked w/Boy Scouts of America. A devoted Irish Catholic, he lived with his family in Richfield for 60 years as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife of 63 years, Joyce; son, Mark (Andrea) Devitt; daughter, Susanne Devitt; and son, Scott (Linda) Devitt; 8 grandchildren; sister, Rosemary (Martin) Kloet of Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alz.org or Boy Scouts of America or Catholic Charities.
