My family and I offer our heartfelt condolences. We share Pat’s love of country and love of our Saviour (but not the Vikings…) and mourn her death with you. We have a sure hope that she has gone to a place prepared for her, and that our reunion all together after our mortal sojourn here is through will be filled with perfect joy. Until then, we pray for His comfort and presence in your life.

  15. Chuck and Sandy Blackman says:

Jesus said, “In my Father’s mansion there are many rooms.” We hope Pat’s room comes with a coffeemaker. We will always remember Pat sitting across from us with both hands wrapped around a cup of coffee with a big smile on her face. We laughed and talked about many things, trivial and serious with honesty and respect. We miss Pat greatly and pray that in our grief she has found peace.

To honor Pat’s memory we will start a yearly scholarship to be awarded to qualified respiratory therapy student at South Dakota State University.

    • Brent A. says:

I am so sorry for the loss your family went through. I wanted to take more time to research the creation of the Patricia Helseth Memorial Scholarship in Respiratory Care. I was honored to receive this for 2022-2023, which directly assisted me in continuing to further my education and knowledge in respiratory care. I was very disappointed I was not able to accept in person. I just wanted to take the time to also let you know the impact Pat has had on me personally.
