Patricia M. Spurr "Pat", age 79, of St. Paul, passed away December 8, 2020 at age 79. Pat taught dance in the West 7th area for over 25 years and was well known and loved by many neighborhood families. Although she never had kids of her own, each and every child she taught was special to her. She didn't only teach the basic of dance, she taught the basics of life. Her incredible patience and kind heart allowed even the shyest child to enjoy learning to dance. Her family was her greatest joy. She was passionate about making their lives better and supporting them in every endeavor. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Charles "Bud" and Marcella Spurr, and her brother Charles Spurr, Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law Shari Spurr, her nieces, Christina brown, Anna Spurr, and Nicole Perry (Wil), and the littlest lights of her life, Adrian (age 3) and Kade (15 months), as well as many cousins. She will be deeply missed.
A burial service will take place Monday, Dec. 14 at Resurrection Cemetery (for information email nicoleebperry@gmail.com). A memorial celebration of her life will be held in summer 2021. Memorials may be given to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Paul, MN.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Pat in occupational therapy for almost ten years. She was as great an occupational therapist as she was a dance teacher. I’m sure she will be missed. Sandi McDonald Kollmann
