Pat lived a few blocks away from me, and through the years in east Richfield we saw Pat on his bike or at the pool, and even at Christian Park several times. The last time I saw him was at the American Legion. We will miss seeing you around Richfield Pat.

You will be missed greatly in the community and beyond Pat. I’ll never forget working with you to sign up for the Richfield hockey Association tournaments. No one could do the clock as well as you! Thank you for all you have done for the community. May reap the rewards of a life well lived.

  5. Jim Weidt says:

I knew Pat from the legion where I am a past commander for the SAL During my tenure, Pat never missed a meeting. At every meeting Pat gave the Invocation, I could not help but admire his dedication to God as Chaplin, and our squadron. RIP Pat.

  6. Howard Luloff says:

I was the public address announcer for Holy Angels basketball and baseball for nine years and worked a couple of soccer section games where Pat was running the board. I also announce a number of spring and summer youth hockey tournaments at various venues, including the Richfield Ice Arena and one Sunday several years ago, Pat was the timekeeper for a couple of games. Of all the people I have worked with at tournaments, Holy Angels and St. Louis Park High School where I wrapped up my 30th year at the mike for soccer ,hockey, girls lacrosse and baseball, Pat was the best timekeeper I ever worked with. He never let his handicaps get in the way. If you attend a game or a tournament at the Richfield Arena, you’ll see a plaque honoring Pat. My condolences go out to Pat’s family and the Richfield Youth Hockey Association on his passing and may he rest in peace.

  7. MG says:

Patrick was a prominent figure of my childhood memories. Whether it was “altar boy” at Fr Kievel’s weekly mass, or dressed as a clown for the kiddie’s entertainment at Richfield’s July 4th events, I have fond memories of him and his dedication to volunteering in Richfield and at St Peter’s Church.
May God bless and keep his soul.
