Peter Egger, age 91 of Richfield. Passed away on June 23rd. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary L. Egger in 2013. Devoted father to Molly Dornik (Jeffrey) Mork, Bob (Sonya Butler) Dornik, Bill (Naani) Dornik, Joan Dornik (Greg) Gillham and John (Sarah Kalweit) Dornik. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to Jeremy, Ryanne, Carson, Taylor, Matt, Mike, Graham, Jack, Sean, Delaney, Adeline, Sydney, Will and Emma; nieces and nephews, Vicki (Kevin) Anderson, William Peter (Maxine) Perko, Susan Perko, James (Mary) Perko, Mary "Mitzi" (William) Piepho and Steven (Sharon) Perko; as well as other relatives and friends. Attended Hamline University on a football scholarship, proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Lt. during WWII, surviving the battle of Leyte Gulf, and retired from Williams Steel as its credit manager.
