Richard H. Carlson, age 85. Lifelong resident of Mpls., born June 7, 1927, passed on January 11, 2013. A longtime employee of Hennepin County and the U. S. Postal Service and a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by wife, Arlene. Survived by daughters, Nancy (Orin) Barber and Barbara Belschner; grandchildren, Jason, Kate, and DuPre; sister, Elaine Bennett; sisters-in-law, Ruby Tennison and Phyllis Carlson; brother-in-law, Sherman (Billie Jo) Kleven; many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mt. Olivet Cathedral of the Pines.
