Age 74, of Ham Lake. Dad's beloved wife of 54 years, he and mom met on a blind date when mom was eighteen, and began dating immediately. Next thing he knew, dad was at the altar! During the reception at grandma Dorothy's house in Wadena, dad stated that mom gave him the single happiest day of his life. When dad's '62 Olds Starfire was adorned with cans on strings, and ready to take mom and dad to their honeymoon, Harold and Morris Schwartz somehow got a hold of the keys, and jacked up the rear wheels slightly, so that when mom and dad got in and hit the gas, they couldn't drive away. Not long thereafter, they moved in above the movie theater in Coleraine, MN. Soon, four children would follow over a period of 14 years. When mom was a young child, she made the decision to follow Jesus for the rest of her life, and this decision remained unwavering. Indeed, she has now followed Him all the way to Heaven. We are reminded that as Christians, to die is gain! And so we know that mom is in Heaven, and can be joyful that not only is her Heavenly body renewed and vital once more, but that we will see her again!
To anyone who reads these words, we pray that you allow Jesus to come into your life and make you new, both on earth and in Heaven, forever. May the overall story of your life be one of serving Jesus. From mom's kids to all of our extended family, we love you, and ask that God watch over you all.

Survived by husband, Dean Johnson; children, Wendy McGowan, Kim Johnson, Tony Johnson and Tim (Saree) Johnson; mother, Dorothy Schwartz; grandchildren, Amanda (Rock), Jake, Mikayla (Cody), Cherie, Dorothee, CJ, Garrett, Chloe, Jaeger, Jett and Knox; siblings, Reggie (Heidi) Schwartz, Rick (Debra) Schwartz, Tim (Brenda) Schwartz and Tammi (Charles) DeLaPena; and her church family. Preceded in death by grandparents, Glen and Alice Albin; and brother, Ronnie Schwartz.
