Velva M. "Val" Ziesmer, age 93 formerly of Cambridge and Richfield. Born July 9, 1920 and passed away July 7, 2014. Val loved square dancing with her husband and camping with friends, but the thing that brought her the most joy to her life was being a grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Homer; brothers, Norman and Claire Johnson and parents, Harry and Mabel Johnson. Survived by daughters, Denise (Phil) Schaefer and Sue (Garry) Hall; granddaughters, Laura and Katie Schaefer; sisters, Beverly Odmark and Ethel Engvall; nieces, nephews and in-laws.
