Vivian L. Gustner ( nee Stomberg ), age 97, of Richfield, formerly of South Minneapolis, passed away on Jan. 15, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. and sister, Viola Hedine. Survived by brother, Lealan ( Kathryn ) Stomberg, cousins and many dear friends. Born and raised in Traverse County, MN, she attended school in a rural one-room school in District #7 and was a member of Siloah Lutheran Church in Parnell Twp. She graduated from West Central School of Agriculture, Morris, MN, ( now the University of Minnesota, Morris ). Proudly served in the Women's Army Corps for 29 months during WWII. Retired from the City of Minneapolis and was a long time member of Salem English Lutheran Church.
