Joan Hoeller Wilharm

Age 87, of Apple Valley, formerly of Bloomington. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom she adored and treasured the time with. Joan had an infectious personality, a wonderful sense of humor and was the utmost hostess who never wanted to miss a party. Joan was a charter member of Bloomington Federated Women’s Club and spent many years giving of herself in multiple volunteer services including Southdale Fairview Hospital, Loaves and Fishes, and many others. She was a good friend to many, going back as far as childhood, high school and as well as her dear friends in her Florida home. She showed us her incredible strength as she battled 2 years of cancer without complaining. Joan was and will continue to be an inspiration to everyone who had the good fortune to call her wife, mom, grandma, and friend.
