Jean M. Sverdrup age 91 of Edina. Born March 12, 1927 on the family farm in Kandiyohi County, MN and passed away at her home on September 12, 2018. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, George and her sister, Eleanor Kline and brothers-in-law Robert Kline and Calvin Behr; she is survived by sons, George (Kathleen) and Keith (Barbara Sverdrup Stone); grandchildren, Tanja (Allen) Pofahl, Per (Janna) Sverdrup, Stephanie (Matthew) Fouse; great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Hannah, Ella, Sofia, Sarah; siblings, Doris Behr and Allard (Peggy) Christenson and double cousin, Mary (Maynard) Wood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Stephen Church.

We were sad to hear of Jean’s passing. She was such a vibrant woman with an easy smile. You have chosen the perfect photo to remember her! We got to know Jean and George during the time they were members at Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church, and we treasure our friendship with them. Jean will be missed by many. Please accept our sincerest sympathy.
Keith and Barbara, Over the years, we have gathered many great memories of your folks. Both your mom and dad were truly wonderful people. I have several of your mom’s recipes in my recipe box. And encouraged by your mom, I began to do cross stitching and quilting. Peace be to her memory. Dan and Faith Johnson
