My dad recently passed away peacefully. We decided to use Morris Nilsen for my dad's care and burial. Steve was such a blessing in this hard time. He helped us do a direct burial and was able to help get my dad into Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Due to a certain time restraint, Steve worked hard with the VA and everything worked out well. Steve and his staff are professional and caring. They help to honor families wishes for their loved ones. Steve picked out a very nice coffin for my dad, that was economical. He did not try to add any unnecessary costs to this event. Thank you Steve and all the Morris Nilsen staff for doing such a great job with my dad and family.

I am SO happy that my cousin recommended Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel to me after my dad passed away unexpectedly. They went above and beyond to help me. They were compassionate, accommodating and completely on top of everything. He passed away on Thanksgiving and Stefanie went back to the funeral home that night (right after hosting Thanksgiving dinner) to arrange transportation to bring my dad back “home” from the hospital. She didn’t want him to be alone over the holiday. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They made this process as smooth as it possibly could have been, even including editing a photo from the 70’s to post with his obituary. Thank you Morris Nilsen team 💜

I'm not sure how we were so lucky to be connected with Stefanie when my dad passed away, but to say I am grateful is an understatement. Nothing is easy when someone passes, but she walked with us every step of the way with so much compassion and caring. I will never be able to say thank you enough.

What a LIFE SAVER! Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel truly helped me assist a family today with replacing an urn that was damaged in shipping for inurnment at Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
When I called late on a Wednesday evening and they were willing to stop in and assist to easy a families heart today by replacing the damaged urn and allowing them to have their graveside service proceed today.
Forever thankful and grateful to Mr. NIlsen, Lillie and the young lady who answered my call last evening! Again THANK YOU!

From the moment we called to ask questions about services for our recently passed mother the whole team at Morris Nilsen was nothing but kind and knowledgeable. They guided us in such a way that every step felt natural and at the pace we needed. Just from the phone conversation my family decided to use their services.
From the initial meeting, follow up questions, the day of the service to the internment - all was perfect.

From the moment I called and every step of the way from there, Stephanie was so helpful and compassionate. We lost our granddaughter who was stillborn at 41 weeks. This was not something you prepare for so I want everyone to know how grateful I am to Morris Nilson for the care they provide. You can entrust your needs to them and they will work hard to meet those needs.

We went through the hardest loss we have ever experienced recently. We lost our baby. Stefanie is the funeral director we had the honor of working with throughout this tragic heartbreak. From the second I talked with her on the phone, I knew she was someone that I would never forget and would be eternally grateful for having in my life during this difficult time. She knew exactly what my heart needed throughout this entire process and exactly how to make everything as seamless as possible. I have never worked with someone more compassionate, trustworthy, and supportive. Stefanie went the extra mile for us in every single way possible. She is truly such a special person and I will forever be grateful that I made the call to Morris Nilsen.

I wanted anyone that reads this to know the quality of service we received from the team at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel.
My Dad planned most of his funeral, and the team delivered everything he requested to the letter, plus so much more. They were professional, detailed, kind, totally on top of everything right down to assistance with small details outside the scope of their required work. They made it look easy and seamless and took so much off our to-do lists. My sisters and I are particular and satisfying 5 women is challenging, and not one thing was left incomplete or unfinished. I greatly appreciate the expertise they demonstrated at my dad’s funeral. HIGHLY recommend!

The staff here was so kind and personable. They guided our family with professionalism, empathy, and integrity. The whole process was very transparent. There was zero high pressure sales tactics aimed at making our family spend more money, but presented all of our options. I would highly recommend them.

I can't begin to thank you enough for everything you did to help us plan everything for our mom - you answered questions, and maybe the same one more than once, but always portrayed patience, kindness, professionalism, courtesy, and caring thru out the entire process. I also want to mention about your play area for children - you don't always see something like that in a funeral home, and we were grateful the little ones had a place to go and be occupied and play. Again, thank you thank you thank you for everything you did, from the planning, to the service, being there with us, and taking care of everything, absolutely everything.
