Elizabeth R. Fossen (née, Kennedy)

Elizabeth Fossen (née, Kennedy) age 97 of Richfield, Minnesota passed away peacefully at her home on May 13, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Wellwood & Effie Kennedy; loving husband, Russell; son, Douglas & sister, Jeanne Bell. She is survived by her children, Tom (Pam) Fossen, Barb Anderson, Mike (Kathy) Fossen, Joan (Jim) Mithun, Sue (John) Weiss, daughter-in-law, Evonne Fossen; sister, Kaye Mason; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; special neighbor, Joyce Bommersbach and many other relatives & friends.

Elizabeth and Russell married in 1951 & raised their children in Richfield. They enjoyed attending the events of all their children and grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a dedicated volunteer at Church of the Assumption and in the community. Elizabeth also enjoyed being outside working in her garden.
