My baby brother I will miss you dearly. I know you were hoping for two years more but Dad and Mom wanted to hug you sooner. I will miss your unending humor and beautiful smile. Love you forever.

Your humor and smiling face will be missed by so many. This is unbelievable to process. You have always been so positive and strong. Your personality and free spirit will not be forgotten. My heart goes out to you and your family words cannot express how saddened we are to learn of your loss.

    Hey Bob,
We will miss you here at work. Your hammering on parts and other various sounds coming from your office as you worked on locks, your sense of humor joking with everyone with your crazy stories and experiences in life, the talks we had about various topics in your office. When I called you at home after hearing the news of your circumstances you sounded like you were doing well and had some hope, but none of us really know what the future holds. The last thing I said to you as you left the building here at OPH was “Jesus loves you!” I meant that, I hope you took that to heart. You now know more than any of us on how true that is. You will be missed, Bob.

  4. KURT E HEIDEMAN says:

Bob was our locksmith at OPH for the last 10 years. He genuinely cared about being a locksmith and was one of the best. Bob was an Army veteran in his younger days. Bob always had a smile on his face and a joke/story to tell. He really brightened up a room with his story telling and laughter. Bob loved a cold Hamm’s beer and enjoyed going to the casino. He truly loved life and all the experiences that went along with it. -Kurt Heideman & Steve Mikutowski

Sending Bob’s family and friends my sincere condolences. I had recently come to OPH from another facility and Bob was so helpful and kind, answering questions and following up on things with a smile. He is missed.

Oh Bob, where do I start. You always had a smile, a joke and some wise comment to say when I would see you. I remember the day you asked me to come to the EDR as you had something for me. I came down and joined you for lunch and you asked if I had my cell phone locker key, I said yes why? You then said I will swap you keys. I said why are we swapping keys, you looked at me and said because everyone in the shop has watched you try to get your keys and cell phone out of your locker, and it looks like you are hanging yourself every time. So, you and a couple of the guys went and tried to figure out how tall I was and found me a locker more suitable for my height LOL. I will miss our lunches, our chats over coffee in the shop in the mornings, you laugh and sense of humor along with the many, many jokes you would tell. I will miss you being an intricate member of our OPH bowling and golf team. That will never be the same. Wishing your family and friends peace. I have many memories of you and will cherish them.
