Beverly J. Schauer, age 97 of Richfield, passed away on February 7, 2026. Preceded in death by her husband, August D. Schauer in 1987. Survived by son, August C. Schauer (Anne); daughter, Catherine Schauer; grandchildren, Lauren Ronning (Erik), Stephanie McKernan (Alasdair); and August J. Schauer; great-grandchildren, Iona Evelyn, Catherine Anne and Clark Arthur; "special grandchildren" Lisa and Adam Iverson.

Dear Family and Friends of Beverly, We were neighbors of Beverly’s for many years and have so many good memories of her. She inspired me in so many ways. Everything from yard work, designing an awesome fence, and taking our dog for a car ride to the park for a walk. My husband loved clearing the snow from her walk and driveway during the winter whenever he was home. One year when a storm knocked out the power for days on our side of the street, she offered to run an extension cord from her home to ours. She set the bar for what it meant to be a kind neighbor. I feel very grateful for the years I spent living near her and hope everyone has the chance to know someone like Beverly.
