Diana Joan Johnson, age 75, of Bloomington, MN passed away on June 29th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 14th,1949 in Minneapolis to Elmer and Joan Dean (Pehrson). She graduated from Richfield High School in 1967 and worked as a Secretary at Control Data where she met her husband, Ron. Ron and Diana were married on October 7th, 1972. They welcomed son, Christopher, in 1974, daughter, Kari, in 1976 and adopted daughters, Mandy and Tammy, in 1985. Diana enjoyed hosting, baking and cooking, crafting, gardening, camping, skiing, sewing and bowling. She cherished her family above all. She lived her life humbly, focusing on the care and well-being of others. She spent much time volunteering; from supporting all her children’s and grandchildren’s activities to assisting with drills and phone calls for the Eden Prairie Fire Department, to her most recent efforts helping coach the RAVE softball team. She will be remembered for her spirit of giving, love, support and selflessness.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ron Johnson; son, Chris (Amber); daughters, Kari (Steve) Kisor, Mandy (Dan) Wodnick, Tammy (Tom) Wagner; grandchildren, Erick and Johanna Johnson, Anna and Jordan Kisor, Quinn Wodnick, Brayden Winter, and Savannah and Cole Freeman; brother, Lyle Dean, and several nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed home by her parents, Elmer and Joan Dean; brother, Jerry Dean; sister-in-law, Barb Dean; brother-in-law, Robert Johnson; mother-in-law, Vally Johnson; and father-in-law, Ronald A. Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Pediatric Burn Care.
