Margaret "Peggy" Morgantini - Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel

Margaret “Peggy” Morgantini

November 21, 1943 - August 8, 2025

Peggy Morgantini (Foss) age 81, of Blaine MN, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 8, 2025, joining her husband Ron in their eternal home. Peggy was born on November 21, 1943 to Bernard and Elizabeth (Cody) Foss.

Peggy and her older brother Don Foss grew up in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota where they have fond memories of visiting family members in various parts of the Twin Cities.

Peggy’s young adult life took her to Illinois, where she met, fell in love with and married her husband Ron. Eventually they returned to the Twin Cities and bought a house in Richfield where they raised 5 children, happily celebrating all of the milestones that came with that adventure.

Peggy’s many hobbies and interests included stitching, volunteering at church, puzzles and games with friends and fellow residents, baking, and book clubs. She will also always be remembered by the fun and active birthday parties she planned when her kids were young.

As her children grew up and had kids of their own, Peggy became a beloved grandma. She attended her grandkids activities, read at schools, cheered at their sporting events, took them on ice cream and arcade outings, and shared her love of baking.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Elizabeth; her son-in-law, Jeff Blomgren, and her loving husband of 26 years, Ron Morgantini. She is survived by her brother, Don Foss (Barb); her sister-in-law, Arleen Morgantini; her daughter, Amy Reiland (Jerry), her daughter, Emily Blomgren, her daughter, Edie Stellick, her son, Tom Morgantini (Emily), her daughter, Angie Anderson (Todd), her 12 grand kids - Kali, Jacob, Jenna (Joshua), Ashley, Zoe, Austin, Dustin, Sam, Nick, Zach, Mackenzie, Grant; her great-grand kids - Zayn, Nami, and her nieces, Melissa and Lara.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for a future living memorial honoring both Ron and Peggy.

My condolences and sympathy to the Morgantini Family. Particularly, to the Tom Morgantini family. Peggy and Ron did a wonderful job of raising their son, Tom. Tom’s family values, caring, sensitivity, and helping out in the community and Scouts are a testament to the qualities instilled by his parents and family. I know Peggy will be deeply missed.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.

Peggy was my first cousin and we loved her and Ron. We knew all the kids and visited at your house and appreciated the train set in the basement. I kept in touch with Peggy and was able to visit her when I was in Minneapolis 2 summers ago! An incredible woman, Mother and Grandmother. So generous with he time and kindness and love was always apparent.
