Mark was a great friend. 40 years at least, got married the same exact day.
Mark was a great son to his parents, a great father to his 2 children. A great grandfather as well. He loved his wife with every fiber of his soul. He cared for everyone he knew. He was such a kind soul, even keeled in every way. He kept his bikes, cars, home, yard, himself absolutely spotless. I will miss our dinners together, his laughter and smile. Our loss is great but heaven gained to have his presence there. Rest in peace, see you in a blink of an eye.

I saw Mark almost everyday, my entire tenure with Novartis/Nestle, as 20 years at the front reception desk. What a kind and friendly soul he was. Prayers to his family and close friends. He will be sorely missed.
    RIP Mark

Linda, Matt, Krista and the entire extended Blomsness family,

I worked with Mark at Nestle/Novartis and couldn’t have thought more highly of him. He was a dedicated professional, with expertise that no one else had, was always willing to go the extra mile to get a project done, and, at the same time, was modest and unassuming. I was also lucky enough to participate with him in a small culture/leadership principles-oriented group of employees that met weekly for over a year and became very close friends. I could always count on Mark to take the time for a personal conversation, light and friendly or for support when things in life were tough. Mark was an amazingly kind person and a good friend to all.

Linda, I presume that you know this, but Mark absolutely adored you. He constantly spoke of you with love in his eyes. And, Matt and Krista, he spoke of you often with so much love.

My thoughts are with you, Linda, and all of the family during this difficult time.

I too am shocked and saddened of Mark’s passing. My sincere condolences and prayers for Linda, Matthew, Krista and all of Mark’s family. Mark was a friend of some 50yrs. We met at good ‘ol MSB, commuted together, played softball, and for me, most importantly honored me as my bestman. I had been in touch recently and always am thankful for his concerns. There was not a better man than Mark that has been on this earth, always kind and thoughtful. He was/is my great friend. Rest comfotably and in peace my friend, you left a great legacy and you will be missed by many. I love you buddy.

To Linda and the entire family, I am so sorry to hear about Mark’s passing. I worked with Mark at Nestlé from 2015 until he retired, and was lucky enough to see him a few times after he retired. I had nothing but the utmost admiration and respect for Mark. He was such a caring person who was always as cool as a cucumber, gave fantastic meaningful advice, and was just a pleasure to be around. He remember things that mattered, personal things or perhaps things others would not. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you this. He was truly a special human being, a role model and someone you wanted to be around. Mark had a profound impact on me. My thoughts are with you and the family during these difficult times.
