We join the entire Richfield Community in sorrow at the loss of Arlan. We appreciate all of his hard work in literally building Richfield. We are so grateful for the selfless volunteer service he generously provided to all of us through many community organizations. We are also grateful for his military service to our nation, and for his contributions to the Honoring All Veterans Memorial Board. Our sympathies to Elaine and their family. May he Rest In Peace.

  2. Jane McCall says:

My deepest sympathies, Elaine and family. I remember Arlan’s smile and the jokes and fun we always had at breakfast after church services. Chuck and I always looked forward to our Sunday visits. It was a good way to start the week; church and laughter with friends. Let the Lord wrap His loving arms around you as you dance with the memories, in certain assurance we will see them again in glory.

    God Bless,

    Jane McCall

  3. Mike Lee says:

I remember Arlin very well. He was my Webelo Scout Master.
He would sharpen our skates after the meetings.
Great guy, sorry to hear of his passing..

  4. John Evans says:

As a staff person with the City’s Recreation Department, I worked with Arlan on our Community Services Commission and the Honoring All Veterans Memorial group. It was always a pleasure to see him and chat with him; he was so kind and generous with his time and talents (also active on the Citizen Emergency Response Team). He made the community a better place and I’ll miss him.

Beautiful service. So sorry I was unable to be there, but so glad that it was live-streamed. I will miss that beautiful always smile on his face. Arlan fit in this family like a glove from the start. Sending a huge hug to you Elaine love you so much. Sending hugs and prayers to the family. God Bless you all.

  7. Cynthia Ann Huth says:

I was sad to run across this when I was looking for information on Arlin. He was a very good friend of my dad’s Kenny (Kermit Huth). I remember him fondly in my childhood years until then my family moved to Arizona. He had a nickname for me “Petunia”. Rest in peace. He was a great guy!
